Best Cricket Flour for First-Timers

If your a little hesitant to try cricket powders for the first time, don’t worry! You’re not alone. Cricket flours are sold in various flavors, to help with any unfamiliar taste you may be concerned about. Our favorite, is the Peanut Butter and Chocolate flavor. I used the chocolate powder to make delicious brownies! I substituted the 6 Tbsp of cocoa for 6 Tbsp of the Peruvian Chocolate powder. I also cut the flour down to 2/3 cup and supplemented the rest of the 3/4 cup with the chocolate powder. They came out tasting AMAZING! It packs so much protein, I could barely finish half a brownie after dinner! I encourage everyone thinking about buying this product to give it a chance. It does have a slight nutty crunch to it, but to be honest, it smells just like cocoa powder in the bag and a TV dinner brownie cooked with the recipe from the book.
